AAAAAY New York. We've brought on three new instructors to join our wild crew. Meet their fierce faces here. And show 'em love by taking a (( COMMUNITY CLASS )) with them this month. All proceeds go to She's the First, which sends girls to school for the first time around the world.
DEATON JONES | 305 FITNESS - NYC
Stride of pride, baby. Hailing from North Carolina, Deaton is not your typical southern belle. Remind this big boy to reel it in, otherwise he will go off, girl! Between every "y'all," Deaton serves endless energy and positivity, flaunting his fab-u-lous-ness around. Don’t let Deaton’s in-your-face, contagiously fun attitude fool you.
“The 305 Kween”
Deaton is also a serious athlete. After playing competitive tennis across the U.S., Deaton now runs road races at the elite amateur level, having completed his last 26.2 mile marathon in under 6 minute miles. A 25-year-old graduate of Columbia University, his unorthodox degree in both Economics and Philosophy says it all: Deaton is a "laid-back type-A boss."

Why 305?!305 has a rare sense of inclusion despite being a seriously challenging, balls-to-the-wall dance workout. Between the live DJ spinning any song at a moment's notice, the instructor moving from the front to the back to the sides of the room, and clients who continue to come back and add their own flavor to each step, 305 provides an exceptionally collaborative and organic experience that leaves you feeling like you just participated in something really special and unique.
I'm 75% angel / 25% devil ... enough devil to come out on a semi-regular basis, but, at the end of the day, I'm just a small town boy trying to make a difference.
What's your angel:devil ratio?

Vogue! I interned in the features department at the magazine for a year in college and even got to write some articles for print, so I'll always be loyal.
Vogue, Cosmo, or the New Yorker. Why?
I "auditioned" to be in the cool kids' singing group on the playground in 2 or 3rd grade. I sang "Lucky" by Britney Spears in falsetto and was not accepted.
