Our #junkiecrush: Kevin M. from DC

Meet Kevin M., our newest #junkiecrush. If you're part of the DC ((305)) fam, you know him all too well, because he takes 12 to 14 class per week. Yeah, you read that right. When he's not grinding it out in class or working at a software company where he's head of sales, Kevin is seriously chasing an impressive concert ticket collection. His 2016 resolution is to see a concert each month, and past and upcoming concerts include ((305)) faves Madonna, Cazzette, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Beyonce and Janet Jackson.

HOW DID YOU GET HOOKED ON ((305))?

It was almost like divine intervention. I do personal training at the gym in DC where ((305)) classes are held. I had just started looking for a cardio class to complement my strength training when this class called "((305)) with Brittney" appeared on the schedule.

From the first class, I was hooked. I get an incredible cardio workout and to fulfill my dream of being a backup dancer on a daily basis!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVE WORKOUT OUTFIT TO WEAR TO #MAKESWEATSEXY?

I have discovered compression pants paired with cool shorts and my "MakeSweatSexy" tank top! I am addicted to finding the next new style and colors to wear to class.

WHAT SONG MAKES YOU WANT TO GIVE IT YOUR ALL IN CLASS?

My latest favorite is "Player" by Tinashe, followed closely by "Confident" by Demi Lovato. DJMainEvent's "Bitch, I'm Madonna" Tribal Remix is the best for any sprint.

EARLY BIRD OR NIGHT OWL FOR MAKING SWEAT SEXY?

Any time of day! I do both morning and evening classes---and if I am not traveling for work, I do 12-14 classes a week.

IF YOU COULD BE A BACKUP DANCER TO ONE SUPER DIVA, WHO WOULD IT BE?

As Nicki Minaj says -- there is only one queen -- Madonna! That would be my dream backup dancer job. Lookup the "Girl Gone Wild" performance from the MDNA Tour.

IN ADDITION TO SOME KILLER DANCE MOVES, WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM ((305))?

((305)) allows me to drop the "corporate" persona and just let go and have fun. I forget about the stress of the day and focus on myself and my health. The music, the instructors cheering me on, my many new friends -- made through ((305)) screaming and having fun -- you totally forget that you are working out. I don't think of myself as "sexy," but the music thumping, the club lighting, and the mirrors all make it hard not to throw a little sexy into your moves without much inhibition.

I spent most of my adult letting my career dictate my life. A few years ago, I made a personal decision to balance work and my health. Work will always be there, but working out makes me feel great and healthy. I have way more energy and a much more positive outlook on life. At 45 years old -- between ((305)) and my personal training -- I have never been in a better place with my health!
