Our first KANYE NOT challenge: working out on your period. Hell yeah or fuck no?
I mean...let's just skip the intro, shall we? You know what your period is, rite? There's blood, cramps, bloating, and emotional recklessness. Nuff said.
Now let's get into the good stuff.
Spoiler alert: it's not just "okay" to exercise on your period. It's actually recommended to work out on your period. #SorryNotSorry.

YES YOU CAN: Exercise alleviates symptoms.

Bloating, be gone: When you make sweat sexy, water comes out of your body. This will help you bloat less and combat heavy flows.
Get that blood outta there: all that gravity and jumping around helps release blood, so you can move on with your life. It's kind of like when you gotta take a shit. Don't just sit there, move! Exercise loosens things up. The literal act of jumping up and down is going to help push blood in the right direction (out of your body, duh).
Exercise relieves cramps better than popping pain killers: Doubling over in pain? We getchu. It sucks. Try, just try, to lace up your sneakers and shake it off. Exercise is the best pain reliever out there. Working out gives you endorphins, which are way stronger (and have zero long-term side effects) than popping an Advil.
YES YOU CAN: You burn more calories on your period, so take advantage of it, lil ma.

When you start menstruating, your levels of estrogen and progesterone drop. This can help your body burn through glycogen a lot easier than when you’re at high-estrogen time periods and fat breaks down slower. So take advantage. Go ahead get in those extra reps of mountain climbers! Your period is when you are actually strongest! Superwoman, yas.
