I took ((305)) high, and here’s what happened...
With 4/20 coming up, I always toke up to celebrate. What's a better pairing than my go-to way to turn up with my favorite way to wind down? This is 3-0-High.
I had to experience it for myself. All in the name of investigative journalism, amirite? Here's the rundown of how shit went down, while I got dumb high.
I must've been high when I booked my spot because I chose Latoya's class, which we all know is already a BEAST sober. My body was either going to love or hate me after this...
About 30 min before class, I started to take some light hits out of my vape pen. I prefer the pen as I get a much cleaner smoke, without the harshness in my throat. Need all the breathing lung space I can get when sweating it out to ((305)) cardio, okurrr?
As class starts up, I start feeling a little tingle at the back of my head which is a sign that the effects are kicking in. As the lights start flashing and changing, I'm seeing them switch up in a slight blur, but I start focusing in on my arms and legs as they move side to side.
This is when things pick up. I feel zoned in as the room gets dark red. As Latoya gets us into fast feet & turning around the room, I'm more aware of my ass shaking, feet chattering, and eyes zoned in to the four sides of the room. I'm less in my thoughts and just focusing on moving my body.
Dance, Dance, Dance
The dance section is obvi my favorite and I really start feeling like I'm at a party. I'm thinking less about nailing every move correctly and just bopping and moving to the beats. Not sure if it's the weed or the DJ's mix, but lit.er.all.y every song feels like my jam.
Turnt Up Toning
At this point in class, I'm feeling super aware and focused. I'm also getting a little paranoid that the junkies around me are smelling the weed on me. Are "weed sweats" a thing?
We grab our weights and bands for a tough AF section. Latoya always gives you a full body twerkout, so I'm def feeling my muscles putting in that WERK! The high is helping me push a little harder as I'm feeling less ache & exhaustion and putting in a few more reps.
Second Sprint Out
The red lights are really helping my get in the zone. Like toning, I'm more focused and less exhausted as I push through the 5 min sprint. I'm looking out for what moves are coming up, while trying to keep my attention to what the class is doing, so I don't seem too faded.
Going into hip hop, I'm sweaty, high, and feelin' myself. Seriously, when the blacklights came on, my state of mind's in such a chill space and I'm litty like a titty. Like sooooo in the zone. Going into the last couple songs, I'm going with the flow. Latoya has us twerking around the room until the end, and I am letting my body move with it.
Baby Bend Ovah
Class wraps and my high is STILL there... though much less intense than it was during the middle of class. Stretching feels sooooo good. My body feels much more open and relaxed as I feel myself going in for the deeper stretches. I can touch my toes when I bend over and I'm opening up my sides a bit deeper.
After class, the munchies hit me hard and I'm READY to eat. I'm one to always eat after ((305)), but now paired with my weed high, I REALLY NEED MY SNAX!! I clean up, smoke up, and chill TF out for the night. How's that for recovery?
TL;DR - Basically, Mary Jane + ((305)) = ME LIT AF.
