INSTRUCTOR LOVE STORIES WITH DIANA
In honor of Valentine's Day, instructors share intimate deets on finding (and staying in) love. Below, peep our feature with Diana, our fiery instructor in Boston and her man Derek.
Soooo, let's get to it. How did you guys meet?
Diana: This fun dating app called Bumble.
Derek: Just bumbling around.
Oooh, so what did you think when you first saw each other?
Diana: I thought he was shy, but interesting, and handsome. Veeery handsome.
Derek: I thought she was a smoke show.
How did that progress to dating?
Diana: He fed me and cooked for me, so I agreed to keep dating.
Derek: She liked what I was cooking in the kitchen if ya know what I mean.
What are things about your partner that drives you a little crazy — things that only you could love?
Diana: His funny noises, facial expression and smirks.
Derek: She has to put lime on everything.
Name three amazing experiences you've shared together as a couple:
Diana: Visiting Machu Picchu in Peru, learning how to salsa, and cruising all over the Caribbean.
Derek: Zip-lining in the Caribbean, visiting Machu Picchu, taking a day trip on my motorcycle and almost freezing to death on the way back.
What's the best advice you can give to another couple?
Diana: To be patient, kind and tolerant.
Derek: Don't take everything so seriously!
Wait. Are you in love with Diana too? Same. Fall in love with her even harder in her class this week.
