You're gonna feel like the whole room is your back-up crew in this hyped-up class!
Meet the man with a handful of names and a bright, soulful vibe. His name is Harold but we call him by his middle name TRENT. This guy is crazy talented. With a personality big enough to fill a stadium - TRENT brings the MAGIC. He has a presence that commands the room and a smile that is equally infectious.
Did we mention that he's crazy talented? Like, major! He can seamlessly move from the ballet studio on a Friday morning to a voguing competition by sundown. You betta werk!
Let's start with any easy one. If you didn't live in New York City, where would you be?
The only answer fit for a true queen! And how about your favorite word?
We're picking up on a pattern over here, diva! Let's get into some juicy stuff. Which ((305)) instructor are you crushing on?
So you're into brunettes? 🙃Into it! So, what's the tea? Are you in a relationship?
Yes! We met 3 years ago on a job. Lets just say it was "love at first gig."
Bloop! Another performer? Lucky you! I bet auditioning and gig life in NYC is not easy! So tell us...what's one time you've failed?
Of all the things in my past that I would consider “failures," the one failure that stands out is me failing to trust myself sometimes.
Woah. Ain't that the truth?
It really is! Some of my all-time idols are fierce legends who defied all expectations and labels. People like Gianni Versace, may he rest in peace. And Willi Ninja, the godfather of vogueing. And of course, Beyonce!
I also love Muhammad Ali. His words pick me up when I'm facing a roadbloack. "I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was." That's Ali. And one of his most famous quotes: "Impossible is Nothing." Those are words I think about everyday.
That resonates, for sure. It must be terrifying to move to New York and go for your dreams full-time!
Absolutely. But this is where my heart has been all along. I was dreamer growing up. I used to watch MTV all day long - studying music videos - dreaming about the day that I'd be in one. Those days inspired me so much to be the person I am today. That is how i first discovered my love for dance and here i am years later doing exactly what i dreamed of doing. My first music video filmed about a year ago for SZA.
Very cool. What style of dance do you love most?
I love ballet and I love vogue.
No joke! That's an unexpected combo! What do you love about coming to ((305))?
I love ((305)) because it reminds me why I fell in love with dance and movement. It just feels good! Sometimes in the professional world, the "work" makes you forget how fun dance really is. ((305)) reminds me of the fun, the joy, and it pushes me to be a better me!
